Family-Owned Businesses Need Websites.

  • Low Cost

  • Reliable

  • Creative

  • Practical

Hi and welcome to Tiny Websites. My name is Thomas, and I am a web design specialist for small businesses, especially family-owned shops and sole entrepreneurs.

Let me tell you why I got into designing websites.

  • Price

In 2019, when I first decided to set up an Author website, I had a sit-down meeting with a local designer who told me what his services would cost.

I was horrified.

I was afraid he was going to ask for my first-born child too. Did he not know I was on a shoestring budget? (If he did, he didn’t care.) It was a short meeting.

  • Reliability

So I went with another reputable designer whose price was less than half of the first quote but still more than I wanted to pay. I was under a deadline, so this professional created my website…and that was the last I heard from him.

Despite myself, I was forced to learn how to update the website someone else had created for me. He had dropped the ball. But I had a commitment to my mission and worked hard to get up to speed on web design.

  • Creativity & Service

One thing led to another, and I started creating websites as a service for friends, then for other interests of mine, then for non-profit organizations, and then for businesses.

Now I create websites exclusively for Christian ministries and small businesses, with an emphasis on family-run shops, because—like me—they are always on a tight budget!

In sum, this interesting “history” of mine taught me:

  1. The need for a good price—because money doesn’t grow on trees for anyone but Elon Musk.
  2. The positive effects of an attractive website.
  3. The need for a solid design and a secure system.
  4. The importance of helping the client maintain and update the website after it has been set up.
  5. The peace of mind that comes from having all of the above in order.

Your job is to run your business. Mine is to do websites.

Let me create a great website for you!

Meet Our Mascot

Her name is Trendy Wendy. She’s a tiny cat. But very dynamic. As her name indicates, she stays up-to-date on all things trendy, including web trends, and she styles herself a website connoisseur. That’s debatable, but the upside is that she has no tolerance for boring websites.

Of course, being a cat, she doesn’t really care about anything other than herself, but she thinks her reputation is on the line because her picture’s on this site. So she does quality control on all our websites to assure there are no, um, cat-astrophes.

She wants to be referred to as the “VP of Managing Thomas”. Mmm, not happening.
